Alright pay, great once out, but unfair treatment from management
Pay is decent with lots of overtime available - however you need to watch you get paid for all the overtime you have completed as management will always try to not pay it out. Longer serving members of staff get treated a lot better than temp workers. You will not be told about what you are entitled to so do your home work. Overall a great job away from all the politics. Good exercise with good pay, just need to watch out for management

Good money
An OK place to work but you are constantly moved around on different jobs, into my second week and for me, and no one else, there isn't much to do on my shift as I finish my section around 8pm with nothing to do and the managers couldn't care less! If Royal Mail want to pay me for doing nothing then that's fine by me...

Discriminatory & Not safe
Awful management, no H&S procedures followed, we need training for certain duties, especially opening used covid test boxes. One person already got let go due to their being unhappy with the lack of safety in the working environment and they had hidden disabilities.I will stay until until end of contract, but never again!

Management untrustworthy
If you ever tell a manager anything it will be twisted to meet their needs. You should be able to speak out about misdemeanours and not have the managers say differently.

Busy, but fun place to Work
I have worked for Royal Mail since January 2020. The Depot is a very busy environment but fun place to work where staff & Management treat me as one of the Team & make me aware that I'm appreciated as a Cleaner. I think the best part of the Job is the the People that work there who are friendly & outgoing & not afraid to speak there mind so you have to have a sense of humor. My Management team have always been supportive & complimentary and very approachable. If your not afraid of hard work? Go for it.
