Answered 27 January 2020Being constantly on edge due to my manager breathing down my neck and implying I was lazy despite overtime and taking on way more than I should have due to low staffing - and dealing with rude nurses, pharmacists and patients. Being forced to phone angry patients the day of their chemo to tell them the senior staff nurse is moving their appointment due to nurse staffing levels, and being shouted at by patient.
Answered 16 October 2019I am the first point of patients for staff, patients, families and children's families alike. I book in Assessment appointments and set up telephone triage appointments for our patients. We have staff who access staff support via our office. We also have patients and families who access our chaplaincy team.
