Worked here for a short time Staff is always helpful and understanding Although mileage isn’t paid , there is no pressure to work upto a certain radius, the company has recently increased the rate for prebooked and bookings made on the day [PAYE] , and the rate for self employed

I’ve worked for S4S for 6 weeks now as a guaranteed hours nurse (full time). I’ve always got a practice to go to and I’m aware of where I’m going well in advance. The management team are lovely and very supportive. Being a part of the team is a pleasure, with perks like refer a friend bonus and nurse of the month, you feel very appreciated. Wish I’d have done it sooner

Being a locum nurse for s4s is great. What they advertise they deliver.The management team are great, keeping us upto date with developments . especially during these hard times.I enjoy the flexibility to work to suit my family commitments , Visiting different practices and learning all the time. Working with different people and not being involved in office politics.

Amazing agency run by the best management

I moved from a permanent employed job 2 and a half years ago to become a self employed locum dental nurse and it was the best decision I ever made. Initially I was so nervous as I had only worked in one dental practice. After my first shift I knew I'd made the right decision. Every shift I feel valued by the agency and the practices that I work with. Management are very approachable and friendly and are keen to meet needs whether you want one shift a month or to work everyday. I would never go back to being an employed dental nurse unless it was absolutely necessary. I enjoy working in different places and broadening my experiences and knowledge in dental nursing as well as feeling like an important part of the S4S team!

I've been working for S4S for around 2/3 years now. At first I honestly thought it wasn't going to be the job for me as I hate change! But how wrong I was! Management are so supportive and communication is second to non. Even though we don't all work daily together, we all have a great support group. You can travel as little or as much as you like. You can choose to work just one day a week or as many days as you like. There's no pressure. You do not get constantly asked and you are not made to go anywhere you would feel uncomfortable. There is always work if you want it!Practices we go to are lovely and very grateful. Such a relaxed atmosphere and management are always a phone call away. (That's if they are not plying you with cups of tea at the office!!)

I would recommend anyone to locum with S4S Friendly and professional Plenty of shifts available Fantastic if you want to be flexible full time or just a couple of days a week they are happy for you to work either and around you Best thing I have done is locum for this company

I joined S4S recently after leaving a full-time permanent position in a dental practice. I absolutely love working for S4S the flexibility is amazing I pick when I want to work and works perfectly round childcare. The pay is significantly higher than any practice job I’ve ever had. I get to work in different locations with a broad spectrum of people including specialist and consultants ! I’ve learnt so much and my passion for dentistry has returned. Even in these unnerving times, I feel supported and Management are really helpful and very considerate. Communication is amazing! My only regret is not joining sooner!

It's a great way to get flexible working hours.Management are great. They really look after you! Would not go back to general practice now. Love the variety. There's no one who hates change more than me but I love going to different practices. You are never short of work!

The beauty about working for S4S is flexibility. Being a university student looking for part time work it was the best decision I made. Great pay, with higher rates if the shift option is short notice or a little further away. Lovely people to deal with.Great for full time work or a few days a month and anything in between.Working in a lot of different practices has given me the skills to be able to adapt quickly to different ways of working and also pick up knowledge from all the different clinicians I have worked with.

Will never return to general practice

Best decision I ever made. Management are very approachable and fair. I would never go back to a job in general dental practice as I enjoy working in different places and broadening my experiences and knowledge in dental nursing.
