SAS Institute Employee Review

Perfect environment for software/application developer

Very good team structure, good opportunity to learn and apply application development practice. Senior developers available for feedback. All managers are technical including CEO (Memex a SAS Institute company, Glasgow Office)

Cons

Huge workload, a bit understaffed for the available projects

A Good Employer

Work/life balance is a plus, when you are expected to work, you work, downtime, you train and learn at your own pace. Pay is average to slightly below market averages. A privately owned global business, so no shareholder involvement, but this can bring its negatives. Overall a good employer, excellent pension scheme.

Pros

Work/Life Balance, Office facilities, benefits.

Cons

Pay
