A well nice job I worked here for like 2 months , was a good go at door too door sales , a friendly young work environment , and I done ok, I needed more scores for myself too carry on tho as I would have never gained any wages so I quit . Would of been great too stay tho .

long and boring work place

i recommend not working for safe style as it is commission based and the pay is rubbish and i felt like a donkey knocking on the door.
we had a rubbish boss but we had a free mc donalds for dinner with a sandwich and a drink.

my experience was not good at all unclear on what i actually had to do the boss was arrogant and unfriendly also unfortunatly i liar to i would not reccomend to anyone

Very busy workplace

At the beginning of the day, the driver cam to pick me up from my home. We got to the branch and got breakfast. After breakfast we went to people's houses and knocked on their door to try and get them to get a free quote on their doors and windows. Each time we got a quote it was 35 pounds for us. The thing they didn't tell me was that people would be horrible and shout abuse at you etc. We worked throughout storms and wetness. I was lucky enough to get a few quotes from people but it was very rare. i left due to the long hours and money.

Various locations of work on a daily basis which I was taken to by my supervisor with other work colleges. I learned to deal with potential customers by cold calling and engage them in conversation whilst giving the sales talk to get them to buy from Safe Style UK. I like to think I had a god relationship with management and my work colleges. the hardest part of the job was getting people to sign up to be able to earn my wage. (commission based wage). The most enjoyable part was dealing with many different people and the engagement in conversation to be able to sell.

fun workplace good people

worked in hull branch for 6 months good place to work mangers spot on allways there to help even if i was on a bad week the mangers was allways puting deals in my name to help me out on a good week picking up to 580 a week bad week 150 free food good place to work.

a typical day we were outside on the field having banter and knocking on doors making people aware of how much they could save on the new windows. I learned that even though i am confident i can still gain more confident it takes alot of guts to knock on a a complete strangers door. They treated me with respect and always told us about rewards of the month. my co workers were always their when i needed the motivation to carry on. I would say the hardest part of the job was actually getting a sale and it's disheartening because of the job being completely commission based so we had to fight to earn a wage. the most enjoyable part was travelling around i went to places i never thought i would have like Thirsk and Northalliton.

its a good work place because people there are motivated and help you and others if they need help and you can really have fun if its the type of job for you i liked it but i cant work on 100% commission.

worst company to work for

they mess you around with your wages if you on the door to door sales the staff talk to you like rubbish and they make you lose out on money if you make a deal sometimes they just say there is no proof but when I phoned in to book it in they say its all on the system booked in and then when it comes to your pay day they say there is nothing here about that.
so if you are thinking of getting a job with theses guy then don't you will be making a mistake.

A day’s work for safestyle uk consisted of arriving in a area, working as part of a team to efficiently cover the correct areas, being self motivated to get potential customers to have a free quote. I learned a lot of people skills while in this role, dealing with all types of people and finding a way to make them listen to me.
The hardest part of the job was dealing with customers that had bad experiences with Safestyle UK and solving their queries.
The most enjoyable part of the job was working with a strong team to achieve team targets.

I was knocking on people door to sell them windows and doors and to try and help them save energy on their heating bills we travelled all the way around Yorkshire and we knock on every single door and never gave up even in the rain hail or snow.

this job is a difficult one for any and the wages are very low they only give you a paid wage if you get quotes when I worked there I only earned £40 pound due to no one wanting to give a quote I rate this the worst job ever I have had
