Sainsbury’s Employee Review

Eh

Not a horrible place to work however manager has no people skills breathe stinks has no hygiene whatsoever. Employee's were lazy while I was there and did not turn up to shift. Besides that the cleaner and a few of the staff were great ig.

Great experience

Worked there for about 5 years, management was really good and understanding - gave lots of room progression and constantly trying to train you in new things

Avoid

I worked for Argos/Sainsburys as a work from home job. The hours were long, up until 10pm at night some nights, the pros were that we got paid weekly

Pros

Weekly pay

Cons

Long hours

Not ideal

Early starts 4am-8am. Managers can be unprofessional stressheads and take it out on colleagues. Always nagged and pressured to do overtime and work faster as they are constantly short staffed. Colleagues are a hit or miss, some are polite and others aren't - rarely finish on time depending what next shop you have.

Pros

Colleague discount

Cons

Early starts, Bad management
