More training given to managers. E.g basic life lessons?? I've never worked anywhere and felt so disrespected and uncomfortable in my whole life. The way they treat/ speak to employees isnt right. I covered other stores and clearly it isnt something that needs work on in just 1 store.

Long even if youre part time because you are guilt tripped as the "managers work too many hours" then, you are doing their job on a lower wage.

Be confident about yourself, have some knowledge on hair and beauty products, be target driven and have good selling skills. Dress to impress as you need to look the part to work there.

Don’t bother attending

Sally Salon Services requires alot of improvement. Management training needs to be greatly improved in order for managers to perform appropriately and gain the respect of their employees. The store itself requires refurbishment desperately it is extremely dull and dated. Looks run down from the exterior.

You are told what to do not asked, no or I can’t isn’t an acceptable answer. Don’t make any mistakes whatsoever or you’ll be suspended.

3 days per year

Be prepared to be asked to do lone working on Sundays, be prepared for opening and closing the store which you can be alone for. Be prepared for flexibility as this will definitely be required particularly to cover staff sickness and holidays. Know your stuff when it comes to hair and beauty as this is a big bonus because you'll need to know the products and be able to answer customer queries confidently.
