Relating to SAS Savers Active Selling. this is based on upsells at the tills, stores competing against eachother to get highest % on SAS. current method is unfair as a store can sell £200 of SAS and only take say £3000 in total takings that day at an SAS percentage of 6.6% and another could sell £400 SAS and have daily takings of £7000at an SAS percentage of 5.7. therefore that store loses to the store who took less money and so gets no recognition or rewards when rewards are given out.
to make it fair all SAS sales should be based against the lowest daily takings stores figures so in the above case the second store SAS percentage should be calculated by £400/£3000 making SAS percentage 13.3% showing that the 2nd store is higher. its unfair that a busier store is chastised when it is taking in more money due to having higher takings. The current way is getting employees down and disheartened and makes management put employees down even though they are working hard and serving more customers than the quieter stores.
I believe that the SAS program should be redesigned and made more faily.
Sack all those people in there currently and employ new staff and do regular checks and check with colleagues.
