If you're a socially awkward person then this job isn't for you. When you work behind the tills you have to ask every single customer you serve (even when busy) about SAS, like forwarding sales of fragrances, razer sets and so on. If you don't ask then Head Office will make you feel like you're not good enough even if you're doing well at everything else.Apart from that, working on the shop floor was fun and everyone was friendly.

I really enjoyed working at savers as i have worked there for several years on and off. The working environment was lovely, the day to day varied on how busy it would be, sometimes i would be rushed off my feet other times i would have very little to do.I did however love doing deliveries and putting out stock and making sure the store looked presentable I would sometimes help with cashing up and would regularly be on the tills and handling cash. My management team while i was working at savers was brilliant never had an issue with them and got on with them quite well. For me personally i would say the hardest part of the job was being rushed off my feet and having a surge of customers and very little staff to help take the strain off and having to do SAS sales and asking customers if they wanted to buy a special offer when they clearly did not want too.

Management we’re as reliable as a chocolate tea pot and also are negligent to any matter related to the employees welfare. Unreliable hours some even being under contracted amount agreed upon by both party’s

Worked at savers health and beauty for many years You are not expected to have a life outside work and literally expected to harras customers into buying add on sales or you get dissaplined! They employed young people so the wages are low ! Your lucky if you get a break and don’t expect to leave on time and it’s freezing in the winter and boiling in the summer no heating or fans are supplied and if you have a complaint do not expect anyone to care as it’s a not what you know but who you know contracts are minimum so when your on holiday you only get paid them hours usual 4 hours and the work targets are not possible early delivery from 6 and no storage so if it rains you have to block isles and break health and safety causing trip hazzards but then your not given safety boots and expected to drag around big cages around You will have to work either Boxing Day or New Year’s Day and most bank holidays the turn over off staff is unbelievable The customers are lovely Training is minimal usually watching videos

Brilliant management who make sure that you are just as happy as the customers. You are expected to listen to senior positions- some supervisors take their job a bit too far but other than that the company is great!!!
