What is the work environment and culture like at the company?

In many cases about appearances and putting a new coat of paint to refresh things, but rarely to address the underlying problem with truly well thought out improvements. Siloed. With some small attempts to improve, but none I have seen to actually make a noticeable difference.
Its a nice work environment, people are friendly and nice to work with and every now again there are after-work get-togethers
