interesting work with a few drawbacks

A relatively laid back place to work, lots of freedom and perks like flexi time, high annual leave, onsite facilities e.t.c. Salary does tend to lag behind private sector but pension scheme and leave make up for it.Workload can be inconsistent, and some projects are badly managed, which can be frustrating.

Can be enjoyable…
Mechanical Technician (Current Employee) - Harwell, Oxfordshire - 17 July 2023
Can be enjoyable when the management plays fair. Seems to be inconsistency within their approach to work and team members at times. Time management seems to be forgotten by employees all over the site with jobs coming in needing to be done very quickly, with “months of planning” leading up to the panic.

A great place to work. So many benefits and a lovely environment to be in. Having a flexible working schedule is really great and the work is always interesting.
