Fun workplace , good work place
Health Care Assistant (Current Employee) - Glasgow, Glasgow - 12 October 2023
Very well run company and is very helpful and kind towards their staff and do what’s best for you as an individual. Would highly recommend this job is hard going but I enjoy the hours and all the workplaces , management very nice and helpful, I enjoy the people I meet along the way the most. I’ve learned more about myself and putting myself out there is good . My typical day at work is getting their by car and then starting my day off and doing the most I can do to help those who I’m there to help and bring furfulled after a shift with the work you’ve done in your day .
Pros
Good communication

Jobs at ScotForce Healthcare
Fantastic company, great work ethic and team spirit
Care Assistant/Support Worker (Current Employee) - Fife - 28 August 2023
The best move I made in the care sector Scotforce recruitment and management team are amazing and so positive and supportive. The interview process is fair and candidate centred. On appointment the training given is excellent and engaging and the office support team are wonderful - approachable, work hard to meet your requests for availability and always take into consideration your unavailability. Scotforce are an extremely fair and supportive employer with many staff benefits and a great support network. Highly Commendable organisation on every level

Managing my own work/life balance

Not good
Health Care Assistant (Former Employee) - Dundee, Dundee City - 1 February 2023
Not a good company to work for. All the shifts I was offered were very far away from where I lived even thought I was told they have shifts in my area. They’re only an agency company when it suits them.
Pros
None
Cons
Long commutes

Care Assistant/Support Worker (Current Employee) - Fife - 18 November 2022
I’ve only been with Scotforce for a month now, but it’s different from other roles/jobs I’ve had, loving it. Get the work/life balance I need. If there are any issues/difficulties can easily speak with the office team how are very friendly and give you the support you need. Always there on the other end of the phone when you need them. Interview/recruitment was smooth along with the training. Get the shifts I need from week to week. Working with some brilliant staff and lovely residents. Would recommend Scotforce to anyone who is interested.

I believe Scotforce is best healthcare agency in Scotland if not in UK
Staff Nurse (Former Employee) - Tayside nursing - 13 September 2022
I used to work for Scotforce in the past for 3 years as a nurse, mostly night shifts. It was great experience and my highest earning job to date. Working nightshifts for many years in the past it came to do point when I had enough and unfortunately there weren't too many day shifts at the time so I left. Now I enjoy working day shifts only in NHS which suits me fine. Less money but no more night shifts. If you are looking to work for agency and be boss of your own time, I would not hesitate to try Scotforce, it can be best job you will ever have.

Best move I ever made
Care Assistant (Former Employee) - Glasgow - 28 July 2022
I had worked in the same care home in Glasgow for 6 years and wanted to try something new. I thought about doing agency for a bit more varied experience but wasn’t sure it would give me reliable hours and I had a mortgage and a car and didn’t want to put them at risk. When I spoke with the recruitment team they were really lovely and supportive and put me at ease about joining and I have to say it has been the best thing for me joining this company. The services I work with are perfect for me and I have been getting block bookings so great hours and works for my work life balance. Best company I’ve ever worked for, I don’t see myself moving anytime soon.
Pros
Flexible availability
Cons
Wish I had joined sooner

Always at the other end of the phone for you nothing is to much trouble for them been with scotforce for over 3 years now and I have never went without work if your looking for a new challenge scotforce is the way to go I’ve never looked back honestly love being a scotforcer

Great agency
Care Assistant (Current Employee) - Dundee, Dundee City - 20 June 2022
Working for scotforce gives me the flexibility to study my nursing degree and still have a good income. I was worried about joining an agency due to the uncertainty about hours or income however in the Yr I've worked here I'm never short of hours. I would say be prepared to travel although they do try place you close to your home town as much as possible.
