  • I’d rather tell people that I work as Hitlers’ propagandist.

  • Embarrassed, there’s no upside to working for HMP Screwfix

  • Embarrassed.

  • There is a very good reason that there are always loads of jobs for Screwfix on here.

  • I wouldn't, It's nothing to be proud of.

  • I wouldn't tell people about them, except you are no more than a number.

  • I’m always telling people how they employed me knowing full well that I’m brain damaged and then fired me for getting lost on the way to the toilet!

  • I wouldn’t

  • I would not recommend. Especially in the Essex area. You are not cared about you are simply a number and are there to put money in tills. They want you to run around yet be safe. Avoid at all costs.

  • Relaxed informal retail environment. Flexibility is good and contracted hours start at 8 hours per week. 3 major tasks for the service assistant role. Serving customers on tills, picking orders and putting delivery away. The pay rate is good for the work that is carried out by the colleagues. I have been with the company for 3 years and as I've seen the business grow it still holds that family feel to it.
