It's a job
If you have a great team to work with, then it makes for a pretty good shift. Management are a bit of a hit and a miss. Very little communication from them. Been with the company almost a year, still do not have a uniform and I know I will not be reimbursed for the one I bought myself.. All in all it's an okay job, the hours are pretty good and the wage is reasonable. Really just depends who you end up working with.

Excellent company to work for
I've worked for Securigroup (SGL) for near 7 years in Belfast and its a fantastic company to work for management are great and very supportive and easy to talk to always at the end of the phone even understand when you need time of work. Fantastic people to work with and great and enjoyable contracts.

Make sure not to have a serious medical emergency whilst working for them
Or you'll be told to stop coming to work and put on disciplinary without even having a chance to explain that you were hospitalised. Management do not care about you at all and they do not back their staff up when clients express uncertainty.

Not best company to work for.
Extremely hard to progress, no clear career path. Rate not that competitive. Hours are okay and if you want over time it is there Management don't care too much about certain things. Loyalty is not rewarded in any way.
