The most useful review selected by IndeedWhilst you are kept busy, you are never overworked. Sellick has a very vibrant culture and the Directors are actively involved with the staff at all levels. Salary is acceptable for the role and staff benefits are great. Sellick is an up and coming company with plenty going for it. I really enjoyed working here
Pros
Staff benefits, yearly team building, rewards
Cons
Advancement is good but the expectations become very high very quickly

Great Place to Work
Senior Compliance Officer (Current Employee) - Manchester - 6 July 2022
Having worked with SP for 10 years and still here says alot about the company culture and the vibrant atmosphere. I have worked in two divisions and both have been fulfilling. SP give you the support and one to one approach for progression. I’m a firm believer that management makes a company. If you have top leaders/management then that makes your job worthwhile and want to advance your career. I love my job and the leaders I am working with. Really progressive and young environment. I am able to express myself without any hesitation. Our social events are incredible, from team buildings overseas to financial awards and Christmas party. Flexibility- SP have a very understanding and flexible approach when it comes to personal responsibilities. This makes them unique from the rest. They know how to support you where possible and able to deliver more on that. SP are a great environment for ambitious professionals who are looking for long term careers. Training and Development - a unique tailored to your role training is delivered by professionals. If you are looking for everything mentioned above then SP is the company you need to approach.
Pros
Lovely culture, Great environment, Great leaders, Flexible working hours, Incredible training, Friendly environment, Lots of benefits, Care for employees mental health, Private medical scheme

A fantastic place to work
Non Sales Employee (Current Employee) - Manchester City Centre, Greater Manchester - 24 June 2021
Sellick Partnership is a great place to work!!! Management are supportive, I have a great team of people working around me, and I genuinely enjoy my job. I have lots of autonomy in my role and the management team are supportive of what I/my team do within the business. Everybody is genuinely nice to work with and you get plenty of opportunities to mingle with the rest of the business. In a non-sales role, I feel I'm rewarded well for the work I do. We get an annual bonus, all-expenses paid company events, gifts delivered to our homes or put on desks to celebrate special occasions, early Friday finishes and early finishes on your birthday too! Plus it's 25 days holiday as standard (for a full-time employee), rather than 20 days which is really useful. I really love working at Sellick Partnership. I feel part of the team and I feel like my role and the work I do is valued within the business.

Supportive, Fun, Growing, Professional and Successful recruitment business
Recruiter (Current Employee) - Derby, Derbyshire - 24 June 2021
Sellick Partnership is a supportive, fun, growing, successful and professional recruitment business that takes a genuine interest in its employees work-life balance as well as career development. Managers work hard to support staff in their career progression, and also in maximising their earning potential through promotion and hitting commission. It's a two way street however, as they expect you to be committed, be a team player and take pride in what you do, in order to give the best service. Sellick Partnership is all about putting people first and is always looking at ways to improve - to benefit staff, clients and candidates. They are Investors in People Gold and for many years have been awarded Great Places to Work. This says a lot. Recruitment isn't easy. You need to be resilient and tenacious, as its not handed to you on a plate. The hardest part of working in recruitment is that you can go through times when its very challenging (what job isn't), but at Sellick there are many staff who have been with the business for a long time who are willing to offer their advice and guidance. Everyone wants you to succeed and are therefore willing to help. The most enjoyable part of the job is the variety of work and people you meet along the way who become great friends. Also the earning potential and opportunity to progress in your career. Sellick takes career development very seriously and want to offer people opportunities to grow while enjoying the ride.
Pros
Flexibility, working from home, competitive package, the people and culture. Thoughtful gifts, fun team building, rewards and recognition!
Cons
None

Awful place to work
Prefer not to say (Former Employee) - Prefer not to say - 12 March 2020
What can I say....
The atmosphere of the office is toxic and the team are treated like dirt.
We have severe lack of leadership within the team. The directors basically run the company on a shoe string.
The team is worked to death and turnover is high .

Best company I have ever worked for
Consultant (Current Employee) - Derby, Derbyshire - 13 February 2018
Sellick are a passionate organisation who always put the people first. The training, development and support is second to none and progression is available to everyone.
The culture is great and we are always rewarded for our hard work. The benefits are outstanding and everyone is treated fairly - including directors, managers, consultants and apprentices.
I have never worked for such a supportive business and I feel privileged to work for such a thriving business.
Pros
flexible, rewarding, supportive
Cons
none

not great
Data Administrator (Former Employee) - Leeds, West Yorkshire - 12 January 2017
felt sidelined as a member of administrative personnel. I felt pressure to do things which when questioned regarding their validity, I received sub-par responses.

This role was fantastic, if I had not relocated to Gibraltar, I would still be working there
Administration Manager (Former Employee) - Stoke on Trent - 28 January 2015
Again, this role was extremely varied. I worked within a team of consultants on a day to day basis, ensuring that the office was running efficiently. I trained all the new administrators. I carried out tests on the computer system and ensured that all data was inputted correctly. I carried out reports for the management team, as and when required and also for Directors of the company.
Pros
Brilliant working environment
