So having worked for servest for nearly two years, I can tell you quite a lot. I started out on permanent weekends in a dusty, half derelict factory. The job itself was stressfree. The factory staff was very kind to me at times. I mostly got on with it. The problems started with a member of staff never doing a full week, there was no outside help from the company, the manager was no help at all, not getting paid on time. Using broken or lack of decent equipment. I did enjoy working on my own, but I never worked in a team so disfunctional. I pity the person who took my old job.

Rubbish

Management are a joke, never respond to you when you need anything but when they want you it's a totally different story. Only thing they usually get right is the pay. Management will shout at you, swear at you wether you're good or not. Getting holidays takes forever to get booked and accepted because once again they don't want to know unless they need you to cover somewhere. I really don't recommend working for these, there's plenty of other companies hiring regularly that are much better. I'm currently looking to move on myself after 5yrs at that store and 4 years with servest, they wasn't too bad to begin with but drastically went downhill

Awful

Awful company.They try to get the most out of people for the most minimum pay which they can't even pay correctly.Awful & Lazy Team members you have to continually pick up the slack for All round Awful Experience

Shifts and management

A very disorganised company to work for, management continuously changes and so do your shifts, not enough tasks for how long your shift is so you have to work slower than necessary just so you don't look idle. I would not recommend working for this company if you're looking for a good work-life balance as the constant changes in shifts means you don't know if you're working one day from the next. This company mainly hires members from the same family and the work rotas get prioritised around them, you will end up with the shifts they don't want to do and the rota will be put up very late or maybe not at all.

Idiots

The staff management supervisor are a joke no idea of security they sleep on job leave sites break in to staff lockers thinking its funny cutting up site pass for fun supervisor did nothing .if you want to get treat like dirt great place if you want to learn do a good job go else were management won't help you either avoid

Hard work

Minimum wage job, for minimum respect. Not having enough glove to protect yourself against the watered down bleach. MHE not always working or lack of new equipment.

Good team to work with, hard work, got to servest through an agency, who didn't describe the position properly, Good training and supervisor, got my PTS card which is a benefit

Satans first in command

If you're face fits you're in and get everything if it don't tough luck...expect you to do overtime as they ain't got the staff cos its a rubbish company with no managerial contact unless for complaints when they show up...stay well away from this company

Working for client is good thats it.

All ways chasing holiday pay .no contact with area manager unless they want something. All ways awaiting stock weeks after ordering.area managers don't answer texts or calls of wich puts you under more pressure to do your job correctly.so overall very poor.

Uncaring about Staff

There is such a high turnover of line management that you have no communication regarding any issues about salary. 7 managers in 18 months and no help from any, salary incorrect most every month.

challenging

people are ok to work with although at times there are not enough hours in the shifts to do what you need to do so its often likely to use your own time until you finish.there are not enough staff to cover if someone is off however we are all competant at running the kitchen on our own if need be.the success of the kitchen is team work,if you all know what your jobs are and you can work together then the work will be rewarding,timing is vital and making sure everything is done on time to a good standard brings huge rewards.to be able to do that day in day out and still greet the customers smiling is a happy achievement

Over worked for the time you have

Having to be made to do 4 shops within 1 store within 2 hours is terrible . All shops ive cleaned in is 1 wage per shop not for 4 or more. Managers do not have the guts to stand up to store managers who add more jobs on to the cleaners when its not in their contracts.

hot and noisy

The manager was pushing constantly even he knew the job was hard cos the temperature indoor. A heavy dirty job most of the time.If you late from break-even just 1min manager give you a nasty look !!

Hygiene operater

I mop sweep hoover wipe and tidy bins empty put fresh new bags in clean mop floors window ledges door handles and paper towels dispensers sinks toilets handles toilet door handles filling soap dispensers clean tables chairs filling all other types of dispensers .

Waterview is a good site to work on, the other sites not so good.

If your face fits type of employer, some of the guards, team leaders and supervisors and management are two faced on the various sites. Better companies out there!

Ok if want a few hours

Not too bad if just want a bit of extra income. Pay is t great for a full time job and have travel to different places. Not give enough time to clean.
