Best job I’ve had
My job with shell is definitely the best one I’ve had. I have a super supportive manager who is very accommodating to my recently diagnosed adhd and makes sure all her staff are looked after properly whilst still being fair and treating everyone equally in line with company procedure. Every day is different and you meet lots of incredible people. The regular customers get to know you very well and always say hi and sometimes you’ll only see someone once and never see them again because they were just passing through. There’s always work to get on with even when the forecourt is empty and full training is provided in every necessary aspect. As well as this the range of shifts available is varied and is very flexible. Lone working isn’t always great but on busy days you barely notice anyway.
