Fun, if you like fast paced
Production Operative (Former Employee) - Derby - 3 October 2022
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedThis is precision electrical work. You will find it very stressful if you are not good with your hands. They provide "training" but it really isn't enough.
Pros
Early off on fridays

Short-change
Mods tech (Former Employee) - Derby, Derbyshire - 24 November 2022
If you can help it don’t work for these! Blanket-rule inside ir35! But treat you like a contractor. No rights contract. They provide no uniform or tooling. They balls wages up then shift the blame. Provide very little support.
Pros
Na
Cons
Uniform, tooling, support, rates of pay

Store, Picker - Packer (Former Employee) - Derby - 19 May 2022
I worked with them more for one year. They are correct and i can say that, they tried to sort out everything. Although the agency tried to do everything, the workplace was not correct.

Electrical Engineer (Former Employee) - Eastleigh, Hampshire - 4 May 2020
it was nice to see that stores and precurement was very well organised, availability of consumables and tooling required for the job, friendly management and colleagues, with a safe place to store your personal tooling without the worry of anything being stolen.

Very professional organisation.
Maintenance Control Manager (Former Employee) - Derby - 20 October 2019
Great Agency to work for on short contracts. The staff are very firendly and proffessional. Getting in contact is easy and simple, and you always get a reply. Overall Shorterm is a professional organisation.

Just be careful
Train care (Former Employee) - Bombardier, Barton upon Needwood - 19 April 2017
Shorterm are really a useless recruitment agency their pay varied holidays are ment to be working time directive but that was on your contracted hours which nobody understood why not even those in their account department. If you left them a message nobody would get back to you. The only thing that was good working for this recruitment was the people I worked with.
Pros
Paid all the way through the shift
Cons
Shorterm

Ok with the work they provide
Rolling stock technician (Former Employee) - London - 23 November 2015
Difficult to progress as any attempt to move on within their networks were blocked so as not to upset the companies that they provide for. was blocked for interviews until I left my full time employment, this made it very difficult to progress so do be careful guys
Pros
Lots of work available
Cons
Known to block CVs if they conflict with the company they provide for
