Customer Service Advisor (Current Employee) - Birmingham - 28 August 2023
A good day starts with having yourself logged in by around 08:45 to ensure there are no bugs to upset your start at 09:00. Effectively, you’re the face/voice of the client. Your role is to simply answer the question and resolve the query to the best of your ability. Don’t take it personal when the customer gets agitated though.
Pros
Wfh, company laptop, good benefits
Cons
Short lunches, systems

It was not fun for me
Customer Advisor (Former Employee) - Work from home - 5 August 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Did not have to travel and the pay What is the most stressful part about working at the company? If you do not pick up everything they get rid of you What is the work environment and culture like at the company? You work from home so all the social going on happens on teams What is a typical day like for you at the company? You sign in and wait for the dialer to send calls check what time your breaks and lunch are and just take calls, you will have coaching each week

Avoid at all costs
Call Handler (Former Employee) - Home Based - 23 July 2023
Promise the world and make the job sound amazing unfortunately it wasn’t They invade your privacy and read your messages. They speak to you like you’re a child. The training doesn’t have much to do with what you need to know and then you’re just left trying to figure out how to work the systems Treat you like dirt Sack you if you pump
Pros
Making new friends
Cons
Invasion of privacy

Disgusting.
Customer Advisor (Former Employee) - UK - 18 July 2023
Absolutely horrid. The 'pay' is atrocious. High staff turnover, extremely busy, customers are often rude/abusive, forced 'positivity' culture, meaning if you try to raise an issue ( and there are many), you get gaslighted. Bonuses and commissions never seem to materialize, payslips are incorrect more often than not. It's all normalised and you're expected to pretend it's all rainbows and butterflies. Different manager every month, they scold you like you're some 10 year old kid. If you let them, they'll destroy you mentally and emotionally.
Pros
Nothing.
Cons
Low pay, extremely stressful, no chance to progress if your face doesn't fit.

Shambolic
Collections Advisor (Former Employee) - Birmingham City Centre, West Midlands - 8 July 2023
5 layers of management on the Cashplus collections campaign and the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing if they're doing anything at all, no control over staff , call avoidance and lack of energy . Qa coaching and marking patronising and unclear due to lack of communication between business layers.

Avoid at all costs
Energy Specialist (Former Employee) - Remote - 28 June 2023
Terrible place off work , working environment is very 'clicky" case of who you know ,not what you know , some people have jumped the ladder within 2months due to inside recruiting , senior management having nothing better to do apart from watch your every move on the in -house live system, where they can listen to absolutely everything, no privacy at all, managers are there to trip you up by watching your every move live , next thing you know your called in for a investigation, then followed up with a displinary, no structure at all , bunch of non experienced cowboys running the company, who feel they can bully & intimate staff, seniors will dismiss anyone ,just to progress their own people, if you don't do as your told , your definitely getting pulled I'm for a meeting , the whole culture is not what they say it to be , intact the complete opposite, Avoid at all costs , especially anything residential, the seniors are horrible ,
Pros
Wfh
Cons
Long hours, stressful, no manager support, left on your own, pay is shocking

Avoid!
Call Centre Agent (Former Employee) - Remote - 1 June 2023
Awful company avoid at all costs. Gets rid of you for being ill, looses campaigns and puts unrealistic targets for you to achieve. Managers don’t care about you personally you’re just a number and that’s it. No advancement and poor pay. Treated colleagues horrible when having very hard personal issues. Also tries to charge you for equipment you’ve returned
Pros
Colleagues was great
Cons
Awful management

Good place to work
Customer Service Advisor (Current Employee) - Birmingham, West Midlands - 12 May 2023
Good place to work, if you put the hard work and show the correct attitudes there is plenty room for progression. Lots of communication and engagement from operations and regular coaching sessions and team briefings

Terrible
Customer Service Advisor (Current Employee) - Wfh - 12 May 2023
Terrible wage. Customers are rude and stupidly hard kpis all the pressure is put on the customer service agents while the managers do nothing all day. Customer wants or demands a manger well good luck getting a response from any manager. Very stressful working here as a customer service advisor wouldn't recommend at all

Decent place to work to get some experience.
Energy Specialist (Former Employee) - Remote - 28 April 2023
Agents are tasked to do everything where other workplaces have different departments where tasks are spread out. Managers aren't very present and can be hard to reach. No sense of a team as agents tend to leave and move teams too often.
Pros
work from home
Cons
long weekend shift

100% acoid
Energy Specialist (Current Employee) - Remote - 19 April 2023
This company bangs on about mental health and how much they value their staff. This is a complete lie. I have had a family member pass away, I have not been allowed a day off to grieve. This had to be unpaid. No sick pay. The pay in general is diabolical considering how much work load they pressure on us. The management are always away in the day and never help out. The managers play favour certain people. This is a ridiculous company and I will never recommend this to anyone. AVOID AVOID AVOID
Pros
Work from home
Cons
Everything

Energy Advisor (Current Employee) - Birmingham, West Midlands - 3 April 2023
Just had my 1 year anniversary and I have enjoyed every single day here. Great to WFH as well. Management is good too! Sometimes back to back calls can be stressful but apart from that really enjoyed working here.
