Can be fun sometimes
Customer Service Advisor (Current Employee) - Remote - 30 July 2022
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedDecent workplace, you get the odd person that you don't like but overall it's not that bad most days. Bit of a lack of support when you get a difficult customer on the phone though

Insights into Sitel Group

- Sense of belonging
- Trust in colleagues
Not amazing
Customer Service advisor (Former Employee) - Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire - 8 August 2022
For a part-time job as a student it was okay, the role is straight forward and didn't require much problem solving as you were trained on how to find the solution for each issue the customer may be facing. However, because it was hard for customers to get an engineer out, they were often frustrated and lashed out. Management is okay, although I personally felt singled out by my manager at the time which was blatant enough for other team members to notice.
Pros
Flexible
Cons
Bad management, stressful, felt unappreciated, bad/slow working systems

Productive and fun working place
SSE (Current Employee) - Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear - 5 August 2022
Here at sitel I’ve only done 1 week of training and already feel so much more confident and positive about myself. The management team and trainees are very supportive and caring for you they will do everything they can to help and support you to ensure you know every detail about your campaign.
Pros
Longer breaks
Cons
No sweets at desk

good management and fun workplace
Customer Service Advisor (Current Employee) - Newcastle upon Tyne - 5 August 2022
As a call centre operator, you’re very much stuck to your desk and dealing with call after call. There is always something going on in the background to help motivate you, such as charity events and giveaways. Overall the management are good, the pay is ok, after the prohibition there are plenty of development opportunities.

Great workplace
Customer Service Advisor (Former Employee) - Longbenton - 5 August 2022
I have worked for two different campaigns for sitel both campaigns were a great working environment. All the staff are lovely and inviting making new staff feel welcome. They are understanding to on going problems and happy to make reasonable adjustments for their staff. When you join sitel you get supported training for you first few weeks giving you a chance to get to know your role before you are expected to take calls.
Pros
Support all the way through your role

Covid 19 people and those in contact with a positive person (Former Employee) - Work from home - 22 July 2022
Getting paid weekly and working from home. The company was pretty supportive. I worked in track and trace so I’m not sure about other roles within the Sitel company

Like being in High School Again
Customer Service Advisor (Current Employee) - Exeter, Devon - 19 July 2022
Absolutely awful work culture. Everything is impersonal and there are evident cliques. If you 't want to feel like you're back at high school, avoid it like the plague. The only benefit is working from home. And if you're thinking of working here, don't let them make you feel special. They hire just anyone.
