Good place to work
Really enjoyed every aspect of this job. Shifts at the time, were unsuitable for me but that is the only reason I left Sky's employment. Good company, great staff benefits, awesome and diverse staff and good fun.

Worst job out there
Wouldn’t wish this job on my worst enemy. All they care about is selling SIM cards to people who have phoned up wishing to cancel their TV account. If you don’t meet targets - threatened by disciplinary action. Do meet targets? Will be ‘coached’ about how you aren’t having ‘awesome conversations’. If you follow the script for said conversations, not only will you have a terrible save rate, but people will shout at you because you sound like some sort of scripted robot. Patronising management, emails sent on your days off. Apply here if you want your mental health to plummet to 0.

Big brother is watching
A true lack of understanding. Bullying culture that is supported from the top. A chapter in my life that gave me depression. Was very happy to take a break and move on

over pressured under paid
Although initially a really enjoyable challenge within, 5 years the role became almost unbearable. Constant moving of targets and increased amount of kpi's adds pressure and stress to at the end of the day is just installing tv. Over reliance on abuse of the health and safety laws that the management have no real understanding of, to get rid of people and a culture of ''if your face fits'' within its click of managers denying any routes of career progression. After 10+ years with the company my advice would be to avoid unless desperate, and even then only stay on your terms.

Great Company, experience within dependant on Manager.
Overall great company to work for, I had a great supportive manager for many years, then left for mat leave and when I came back with a few personal issues my new manager wasn't understanding felt my only option was to leave, Which was unfortunate because Sky has been one of the best employers I have worked for.
