A very good place to work and grow as a person and as a professional
SOAS is a diverse institution that brings the whole world together in one place. The institution is a great place to learn oriental and African studies, build a network and work collaboratively with diverse groups of people from around the world

Productive
A typical day work is Patrols in the internal and external school buildings, the management are selfish by reducing lower ranks employees pay and increases theirs

Relaxed
Typical day at work involved a lot of diary management, arranging meetings, booking travel, monitoring expense claim submissions Involved alot of work sharing in colleagues' absence. Open plan format made it sometimes difficult to focus.

Poor culture
SOAS requires alot of change in so many areas particularly in the area of culture. Progression opportunities and development is poor, and many of the people who work there are unhappy, un- motivated and generally demoralised.
