Ambassador in SOAS
on 23 December 2019
Dynamic and Challenging Environment
Good place to work. The employers are always ensuring that the ambassadors are well, and check in to see how they are doing. They also like to help ambassadors improve.
Ex-Library Assistant in London
on 8 February 2021
Hierarchical
There is definitely a feeling of ‘them’ and ‘us’. Apply if you’re going for higher level positions. Think twice otherwise. Low grade means low to no progress!
Executive Assistant in 10 Thornhaugh Street, Russell Square, London WC1H 0XG
on 15 February 2020
Relaxed
Typical day at work involved a lot of diary management, arranging meetings, booking travel, monitoring expense claim submissions
Involved alot of work sharing in colleagues' absence.
Open plan format made it sometimes difficult to focus.
HR Advisor in London

Poor culture
SOAS requires alot of change in so many areas particularly in the area of culture.
Progression opportunities and development is poor, and many of the people who work there are unhappy, un- motivated and generally demoralised.
Digital Manager in London, Greater London
on 23 June 2019
Great people and interesting challenge
I was working to provide better digital solutions for marketing, as well as the prospectus and student on-boarding teams. The industry is going through a lot changes, and budgets are becoming increasingly tighter, so design marketing campaigns was particularly hard.
