Fast paced and stressful but you learn a lot
Waitress (Former Employee) - Shoreditch, Greater London - 8 December 2022
I worked for soho house shoreditch, I loved all the new things I've learned there, the staff were all fun and the managers tried their best to make things work smoothly. The events they did there kept things interesting and you wouldnt be able to get bored there. The pay was good too and all the tronc went to the staff. On boarding and training were good too you get to know a lot about Soho House. On the downside it was really stressful especially in the summer. The organisation for serving their pool area was lacking so much that I ended up having the panic attacks from how busy and unorganised it was. When I was working in the restaurant even if it was busy it was ok because it was organised and everyone had their bookings but on the pool side everyone could sit anywhere and move around which makes it hard to keep track of people and orders. Higher management werent keen to listen to employees on how to make it better. Overall it was fun and I would work for Soho House again but not for their Shoreditch one.

Challenging but the people make it
Waiter (Former Employee) - Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire - 29 March 2022
Farm is definitely a challenging environment, it's really busy in the summer and the service standards are high. There is a good training programme in place, and the people who work there are honestly some of the best I've ever worked with. Everyone looks out for each other, and it's fun when there's big events of party's For sure you need to be willing to work hard but I learnt a lot during my time.

Pleasant surprise
Waiter (Former Employee) - Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire - 21 March 2022
I've had a few friends work for the company in the past when it was much smaller, when I joined I was worried the size of the venue would impact how it would be for us staff, but i've really enjoyed my time there. It's busy but the team there is friendly and supportive. Awesome training program as well. Sadly I'm moving back home but I recommend it. It's a stunning venue.
Pros
Training program, team moral
Cons
Not having a car to get to work, they supply a bus though so its okay
