Living and working in Somerset

Somerset is special. A county with a lot to offer. Beautiful stretches of sandy coastline, caves, moors, the unique Somerset Levels, get-away-from-it-all areas of outstanding natural beauty, cool-list towns, internationally renowned art galleries, the world’s largest green-field music festival and great local food and produce. And yes, that includes copious amounts of cheese and cider! What's not to love? It's all here on your doorstep. Somerset enjoys good road, rail and air travel networks. With easy access routes to the rest of the country, you can get to London by train in less than 2 hours, and you'll find national and international flights from and to Bristol and Exeter airports, both easily accessible from the M5 motorway.
