Supportive management team which is reflected right through the senior leadership team. Social workers are encouraged to be creative in their work with children and families. Child-centred practice is embedded throughout the service and widely promoted. Supervision is regular and supportive as well as other forms of management oversight on cases. Caseloads are reasonable. Staff morale is positive; the people make the organisation. SCC have been hugely supportive and flexible across the service throughout the pandemic.
