This is very scare to think that the council should be more proactive and understanding of others and be exemplary to the people that work as the public that pay the taxes for it to be a council yet is like they are in ancient times is about time things really changed as we are not using pencil and paper anymore so please council step in to the 2020 with all of the others human race.

Answered 16 November 2019Hate the thought of it, managers just keep putting work on you even when say stressed, they impose a 4 day working week due to 1 day spent answering phones yet do not consider how the work will fit into 4 days. New managers come from a different council and try to re-invent the wheel to justifies there own job.
Answered 27 July 2019The CEO wants flex working, but in housing it came into force then the senior and team leader are stuck in the past so found a way to stop it, result is having to manage a patch on a 4 day week with one day stuck in the office taking phone calls. Complete waste of time put in place by power mad managers.

Answered 3 April 20197.5 a day, however your meant to be able to work more a day then have a shorter week, but try and work flex and you get back stabbed by others in the office that moan then managers make you do office days, which they take no account to your preference over, and managers do not take there turn in these.
