It is as secure as any job can be these days. You are encouraged to better yourself and to go on relevant courses as this not only benefits you but the people you care for. You deliver a much better sevice because you have a better understanding of what the people in your care are going through. Team work.

Working at Lewisham Hospital enabled me to work with different clients and co workers using my own initiative and to give a high quality of care.

I gained a lot of experience at south London and Maudsley and that experience motivated me to take up my nursing career. However, at times colleagues can be difficult to work with.

A nice place to be , it offers a lot of training and the courses are all about the work and the type of person you care for. What ever day you have had or having you know that your colleagues understand and are going threw the same thing , in the end you have to laugh because it makes the work load lighter and the day go faster .
