Transport Supervisor in Bridgwater, Somerset
on 13 October 2023
Not very organised
Company is ok but far too much focus on monitoring an app, therefore sometimes forgetting the basics of transport. Not really a transport supervisor position as you barely get to make decisions without approval , from the other depot at Glastonbury. They do not stick to policies or follow procedures when it comes to addressing performance in an employee.

Great place to work and good pay for relatively easy work.
Sparks has a great fleet and keeps everything maintained to a high standard. Office staff are easy-going and friendly. Get left to it so long as you are obviously keeping good time and let them know of any delays etc, which is reasonable for anyone to expect. Overall it's a pretty laid-back environment to work in.Drivers are a good bunch, will give advise and guidance when needed.

Stressful place
Stressful place to work, lots of hours , many bad places you going to as a lorry driver , trucks are good , management do not really care about drivers

It's a no from me.
Worst managers ever. They do what they like when they like and pretend they're interested. If face fits, then it's a daily laugh..if not, you'll be chastised and given the runt of the runs regular.

Great place to work, easy runs.
Can be a fast paced job, but at the same time it's relaxed whilst your doing it. No pressure on hours. Money is not too bad. As far as London goes, they don't do nasty kerbside deliveries. Usually all main depot's or large cash and carrys.
