Ideal company to work for if you want amazing career opportunities and advancement. The more of yourself you put into this job, the more job satisfaction and reward you will get back. Specsavers are very family orientated whether towards staff or customers.

Pros

Excellent discounts and perks with outside firms.

Cons

Can feel quite daunting initially, if no previous experience. Alot to learn.

Terrible place to work

Terrible place to work. No training given at all. Money is awful. Expected to work most weekends. When you ask for time off it’s a challenge. Work hard but that’s never good enough. Managers think they are better than everyone else and can get away with everything and anything. Any issues never get resolved as managers never thing they haven’t done anything wrong and for some reason the directors don’t see how badly managed the place it and what the manager gets away with. Stay away from here!!

Over worked under paid

Over worked under paid Always short staffed, no right to air any grievances a thoroughly unpleasant experience all round. The Only people who stay in Specsavers long term are rich directors and highly paid optometrists.
