Staff Nurse in Norwich City Centre, Norfolk

Good experience of surgical pts
Better than NHS for work load, however lack of staff makes the job busy and pts have paid a lot of money for operations and deserve better staffing. My husband had operation here, small discount for staff, huge price for pt. Not Sure value for money, spoke with Director, got staff discount but nothing else.Administrator in Worcester, Worcestershire

No day is the same at this hospital, which is great! Days go by quickly as you keep busy and complete tasks. Staff are friendly and welcoming in the hospital and it is a good environment to work in. You are able to progress in your career here and it is encouraged.Radiology Administrator in Leeds

Undervalued
Working in an admin role- very undervalued treated as the lowest of the low. Management running departments they know nothing about only bothered about meeting targets not staff morale/ doing what’s best for the patient. No formal training. Pay is appalling. IT systems are archaic and not fit for purpose. Theatre Nurse in Brentwood, Essex

Would have been a nice place to work if not only surrounded with lazy nurses in the theatre
The management doesn't know how to allocate the 'right' person in each theatre/specialty, they're just concerned about the quantity of staff in the theatre but not about the quality of work of the staff they put. A lot of theatre staff don't do lots of work and even if you complaint, they still get away from away it that's why it's still useless to voice out your concerns to the management. They would prefer their bank staff and newer staff who claims to have an experience on that certain specialty to be trained in a specific area rather than the one who has the potential to learn more, even tho you have told the management that you wish to be trained on that specialty. The pay is not enough for the cost of living and they don't give you enough chances to do bank shifts therefore, you have less take home pay. No hate to the management since they are very kind to their staff but because of too much kindness, lots of staff nurses take advatage over this. and I must say that most of these are the lazy ones. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR NEW STAFF NURSES TO WORK WITH ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE COUNTRY.Receptionist/Administrator in Little Aston, Staffordshire

Awful
Was on zero hour contract was promised at least 20 hours worked well over that when it suited them, Then hours dropped to nothing. Very clicky and unfriendly. For a private hospital it’s awful What would you say about your employer?
