I got interviewed last week for a summer temp job, they asked me what previous experience i had, what would make me stand out in the job, why sports direct, what my biggest achievement was, a couple of scenario questions and my availability and flexibility. The interview was fairly formal and the manager told me on the spot that they were willing to offer me a position at the end of the interview.

Not much you can say about a company that treats their employees like dirt and lying to them about the availability of overtime creating discrimination of warehouse operatives and a toxic working environment

Please remember that you are on a zero hour contract and you do not have to do any shifts that are offered to you . So say you have arranged to do something on a certain day and then the manager asks you to cover a shift at short notice on the day you had arranged to do something, you are under no obligation to say yes and shouldn't be treated any differently because you said no. Zero hour contracts allow you to work when you want. Isn't it funny how sports direct plus all the other companies that only give zero hours
