Happy and Rewarding Work

I have been thoroughly enjoying my time working for Spotless Commercial Cleaning. Its been four months since I started working here and would say that it is a rewarding role if you put the hard work in. It can be fast paced, and luckily I was a quick learner! The management is really supportive and because of that I have been able to grow and achieve a lot during my time here. The office is friendly with really good natured and helpful colleagues. Because of the nature of my role it can be hard to balance a lot of tasks/responsibilities from Spotless and other companies. Since I have a lot of experience in lots of different areas, I have been able to manage this. The people here I would say are one of the best parts about working here, it motivates me to do my best.

Pros

Good Management, flexibility, praise and constructive feedback, weekends free.

Cons

Lots of responsibilities so have to prioritise tasks.

Not the best place to work

I worked here for a maximum of two months, and barely had much training, just being shown around once and expected to know everything from that. Pay wasn't much better, got much less than expected due to a 'cap' in weeks I wasn't aware of. One of two managers I met were lovely and welcoming, while the other rarely had time to train me or be much help at all.

Strange

Working here was very strange I went for a interview and was expected to work straight after the interview when none of that was stated they paid monthly which was a massive issue for me personally not enough time to clean and felt like the job was never finished pretty much left to do you and even when you haven't finished you still had to leave regardless

Nice place to work

Supportive management, always feel appreciated

Having worked for Spotless for over 15 years in different roles, being able to advance into Senior management from starting from a cleaner has been great. 15yrs + service speaks for itself. Always looking to support staff and even though we are national highest management take a keen interest in your day to day and always available when needed. Some days can be harder than others but that's expected in the industry and most jobs.

Have worked with Spotless Commercial Cleaning for 10+ years great company.( 10+ years speaks For its self ) would definitely rate this company in the top 3 compared to other cleaning company’s I have worked for previously. Progressing from cleaning operative to account manager and have been supported in all aspects of the day to today tasks the job role entails from all personnel with in spotless.Like every job there are good days and bad.

Supportive and inclusive

Have worked as a member of the Spotless admin staff for a number of years. My line manager is encouraging and supportive. No two days are ever the same. There is a real team spirit. They have a team of qualified Mental Health first aiders which shows the support they are prepared to provide, even on a personal level. Always paid on time with no issues.

I have been with Spotless for 4 years now and haven't looked back. I initially started as a cleaner at one off their contracts and was given the opportunity to advance to account manager. Friendly company and are treated as one of the family. Works well with family life. Would definitely recommend them as an employer.

fun environment

a day working with spotless can range from fun to a slower day but still having work to do, I've learned that not everyone is going to be nice when phoning in, the management in this company really look after their staff and understanding when you need help, the workplace is a cool environment to work in we have lots of fun and laughs, the hardest part seems to be waking up in the mornings, i would suggest working here because its a fun, enjoyable place to work.

Exciting and fun

I've been with Spotless for 7 years with a 2 year gap in between. The fact I returned to work for them speaks volumes as I really missed the environment and the company culture when I left. They are always looking to better themselves and to try new and exciting things.

Great Place to Work

It's unusual in my experience to find a place where everyone is collectively working towards the same goal. A mix of family feel and commercial clarity. Really rare and a pleasure to be part of. I am based at Head Office and the people there have been supportive since the day I started. I would recommend working at Spotless to anyone.

I have worked at around 5 other cleaning companies as an area manager and this is the best by far.Manager’s treat and respect the cleaning staff and higher management let you get on with the job unless you need help.Great team in glasgow and everyone works together and helps each other,new staff welcomed very well.

you don't get the support they allow bullying the place you clean for is good and people are nice but your work colleagues who you work with are bullies the work is easy enough and the hours are suitable just work colleagues are not very nice to work with
