although i enjoyed my work place, the manager was useless, forgot to pay overtime, rude, to the point ofnot answering messages

the manager was useless, forgot to pay overtime, rude, to the point ofnot answering messages had to pay for crb, then wouldnt reinburse, wouldnt pay overtime used to get checked once a month and they would find the tiniest things and have a moan about it

I worked here for a maximum of two months, and barely had much training, just being shown around once and expected to know everything from that. Pay wasn't much better, got much less than expected due to a 'cap' in weeks I wasn't aware of. One of two managers I met were lovely and welcoming, while the other rarely had time to train me or be much help at all.

Working here was very strange I went for a interview and was expected to work straight after the interview when none of that was stated they paid monthly which was a massive issue for me personally not enough time to clean and felt like the job was never finished pretty much left to do you and even when you haven't finished you still had to leave regardless

you don't get the support they allow bullying the place you clean for is good and people are nice but your work colleagues who you work with are bullies the work is easy enough and the hours are suitable just work colleagues are not very nice to work with

Probably the worst company I have worked for

Awful company, managers are non existent, I have only met my manger once in just over 6 months I’ve worked there and that was when I had an interview. My manager has never once checked up on me when I first started and asked how I was doing. Sometimes my manager wont even reply to my texts. I asked for a new product as it was broke and it took my manger over three weeks to bring a new one in. When my manger gave me a tour of the building the same day as my interview they missed out half the things that I actually need to do, didn’t show me all the rooms, missed out bins that I needed to change etc and didn’t show me properly or tell me properly exactly what needed to be done. They were just in a hurry to go. You don’t feel appreciated and your just a number to this company, as long as the job is filled that’s all they care about.

Wasn’t aware got tax taken off for working one hour per week at £12 ph So recieved less. Otherwise a job that was okay. Uniform provided and manager was friendly and pleasant to get along with.

They rely on the work to be done to a very high level but they are based in Edinburgh so they only come through to Dundee if you need them or if they are doing spot checks or delivering cleaning products

Worst company to work for. Avoid at all costs

A typical day at work:It's just cleaning. Nothing more to it.What I learned:Not much to be honest. Apart from how not to run a business.Management:What management?These guys are non-existent.Workplace culture:Again, non-existent.The hardest part of the job:Trying to chase up my wages almost every month.The most enjoyable part of the job:Bank Holidays off. Please, for the love of god. Join a union if you work for this company.You'll need it.

Took three months before I got my first wage, Wages are wrong almost every month, They'll drop your hours by half or more for no reason, No communication, No uniform, Managers have no clue what they're doing, If there's an issue. They'll drag it out for six months, No cover if you're away or on holiday, Never had anyone check up on me to see how I was doing, Never met my manager

Enjoyed my time under spotless, area manager was a lovely & made me feel relaxed. Nice to feel appreciated especially in this climate, so makes working for the company & my role even more enjoyable.

Management are awful and extremely rude in some cases, pay is always wrong and stressful to get sorted, cleaners are not looked after and staff seem to come and go often, stay away!
