Just been hired in the last couple of weeks. I have been told that I have to wait 4 weeks for DBs and then 4-6 weeks for prison vetting and then I will be given a start date
I applied through a google search of prison jobs. The process is timely because of the high security of working in a prison, so I was employed and paid for 3 months before I could actually go to the workplace.
