Good CompanyGreat place to work, friendly co-workers. Company is very contributive to the community. Many rare items come into the store and you have first pick as an employee. Very good for lack of work experience; Will train you in customer service. Very relaxed and welcoming environment. Disability friendly.

ToxicVolunteered for SVP for the summer and glad I left. The environment was quite toxic with the older staff mostly keeping to themselves and not as inclusive as they advertised. Customer experience was more negative than positive with many thinking that standing around and talking to staff and volunteers asking personal questions were okay and allowed. I was expected to come in on certain days and do set hours, much like a part-time job but unpaid. I left after after college resumed and landed a better (paid) job soon after.

Interesting place to workGood job, poor pay, poor management. Diverse staff team, disagree with only 2 on a shift given the nature of the clientele and risk factors associated with the job role.

Productive and Fun place to workLove working for good causes. St. Vincent's helps many people that have been through very difficult times. It maybe a Christian/Catholic charity but you do not need to be religious to give or receive help from them. By no means was this a slow paced work environment, but it did give great job satisfaction, accomplishing so many things. On the whole, great team, great family vibe, upper management invests and looks after there mangers.

Fulfilling and rewardingFulfilling, rewarding, varied and interesting with the added bonus of meeting new people. It is good fun working with friendly fellow co workers, the clients we serve and various essential key workers. Recommended to anyone seeking joy and fulfillment in their work.
