Ex driver in Chesterfield

You settle a little after 10 years or so
I worked for this company for twelve years .And still didnt get my head around the place and culture .you need rhino skin and a good strong cup of tea at end of your shift . If i could give you a bit of advice it would be two .1. Dont take any debt on .(because you wll be tied down to the place ).And 2. Dont let them walk over you.(say no often ).

Terrible
Starting training two days in take exams driving theory and hazard, cpc day three , driving day four the driving school is a joke the bus broke down all the time the instructors are a joke , you will hear staff complaining constantly about the job , and hours after training you are held to a training bond of around £2k for two years , if you are short in you tickets they take it out of your pay , in short when you get there staff will tell you to run away you will think they are joking but you will soon learn your a number no one gives a dame about you and your family hours are a joke and split shifts are all the time
Driver in Slatyford newcastle

Driver
Lots of cranks at both Newcastle depots...majority of drivers are good lads..however be cautious of the union trio at slatyford depot..liars through and through..one of them claims to be a man of the cloth...but is nothing more than a rat....as are the other two!....money canny....the manageress at slatyford can't manage to have a wash in the mornings so successfully managing a bus depot is out of her depth....but the unions the main problem...imposters the lot of them....
