Poor
Store Manager (Former Employee) - Cardiff, Cardiff - 29 November 2023
Political, damaging to mental health. Operational structure is chaotic. Overworked. If you do well you do the jobs of others. They expect you to buy your own uniform, make bonus targets unrealistic, use yout own phone as a work mobile ( so you get contacted all hours! ) "oh it's your day off, sorry, while I have you" Typical lame pizza party and donuts rewards type company 😋 just avoid. Decent if your applying as a barista. Don't step into even a supervisor. Just not worth it!

Not a nice company
Store Manager (Current Employee) - Teesside - 27 November 2023
Unless you’re part of the little bubbles that are formed in every store/area/region you’re out. Soon as your focus shifts from 100% 23.5 you’re done for and mays well leave. Refuse to pay bonus’ for certain managers while paid some for others. Never paid for overtime, always having to go in on your time off. Never get the money back. Pay is rubbish for everyone until area coach.

Depends entirely on your team
Barista (Former Employee) - London, Greater London - 6 December 2023
Like anywhere, it depends on who you're with on shift. Can deal with rude customers if you have a friendly team to support you. Some managers don't put enough staff on shift.
