Disappointing agency

No respect for employee at this place treated like a object that can be moved around to different work tables. Supervisors and managers are not speaking English. No working hours available most of the time. Totally a disappointing experience. No security for job the organisers don’t communicate with employees properly. Last minute let down zero hr contract

Scam agency, waste of time

Staff are so unprofessional. You basically have to ring them up and remind them of a job they told you about. Lie about jobs you applied for. I’ve went to a job and I did a completely different job that was advertised. Wouldn’t recommend best off applying for jobs on your own have better success that way andYou won’t be messed about.

I would not work for this agency ever again

This agency only thinks of them selves and not about the people working for them they say the job is full time after a 3 month period and it's not I would never work for them again not even iff they paid me a gold cow

I don’t usually leave reviews about jobs but these guys deserved one. They got back in touch with me after I applied for one of their roles online and went down to the office to do paperwork as there was a start the next day. Standard agency stuff really. Was sent in my way with some details of job location and given a small hi vis which didn’t fit my 6 foot four body whatsoever. Was promised full time work temp to permanent when I went to the agency office so seemed promising. Was also told by the lady it was a good opportunity. Turned up the next day for my first shift and was basically told by the company we were doing the job for that there was 180 pallets for us all to decant and restack then that was it. Hardly the full time temp to perm job I was sold. Was given no real safety instruction, zero ppe or anything. We were expected to rip open thick plastic wrap and do all the manual handling with no gloves or a knife. Usually pretty standard ppe for the type of job we were given. When I asked for some gloves as my hands were red raw and saw after 3 hours solid I was given a mouthful off the guy supervising us. Ended up just telling him I was going as it’s not worth my time for a few days work at minimum wage to be shouted at and not even given the correct tools for the job. Steer clear of these chancers.

Beware ignorant liars

I was invited to an induction which went quite well .... They took photos of my passport and then took my bank details promising they would be in touch later that day with a start date .... That was on a Friday.... I did not receive a call that day and had to call myself on the Monday to be told that the person I wanted to speak to was on his lunch and would ring me back when he was off his lunch .... Needless to say I didn't get a call back . Dont waste your time and money turning up for induction with this company , they are unprofessional and they took details off me which I would not have handed over had I known this was going to happen if I could give no stars I would have .... AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Awful place to work

I work with start people at domu brands at stake hill and I can personally say that it was awful and i decided to leave because I hadn’t been given shifts for two weeks and I would always have to contacted them there is no communication it’s a joke of a company there’s no health and safety with most of the employees walking round with headphones in not something I would recommend also they would ring you early mornings to see if you come in and if you can’t then they would always make threats to sack you

Agency staff actually threatened to go out back and beat the entire work force as one lad stole a chocolate bar from the canteen. Then did not pay my last 2 weeks wages. Almost every day you would be told there are 50 more people waiting to take your job and you got told to work most weekends and was threatened by bieng sacked if you did not agree or saifd you had plans already. The other people working via the agency where nice people, apart from that. This agency is shocking and I would love to see them shut down so those mules have to undergo the same wrath when finding a new job.

Lack of care, abusive nature

I worked for start people at cardea doors in Eccles the place was an absolute death trap with health and safety non existent I told start people about the state of the place but was a case of put up and shut up or lose ur job .......it's a dodgy agency where u can never get hold of anybody , u get texts at a hours day or night if they want to speak to u though ....avoid these Charleston's at all cost

Tottaly unprofessional

I went for an interview for a packing operative role and ended up having interview for a retail assistant role. The one who I spoke to on the line hasn't provided me with any information regarding the job but booked me in for an interview straight away and hasn't allowed me to ask any question. Waste of time.

It's great fun aside from long hours you meet a lot of interesting characters and people who you can share some quality jokes with. I would recommend working for them.
