Great place to work

Team Leader (Current Employee) - Kent - 19 October 2023

Shifts consist of eight hours a day. You could be working at either Lidl or pets at home. There is opportunity for overtime and the managers and head office are always there to help.

A Small Company with Amazing Staff and Managers

I have worked for this company for a while and I have to say it's one of the best to work for.Although they are a small company they get the work done. You get an amazing amount of support from the management team and they go above and beyond to help you. The team support one another and you make connections.You're also given allot more freedom, most companies will micro manage you every day but this is far more relaxed and enjoyable.I would strongly recommend this company to anyone looking for retail security work!

Good company

Stealth security is a good company to work Always paid on time But very long hours But when They promise you something they don't keep to their promise But everything else with the company is good Lidl It's a very busy store But the only downside of working for lidls Some of the managers are bullies And tell Lies about you till your area manager If you don't do what they want But They make up allegations And lies to get rid of you the staff are very fredley And helpful----

Management are bad. Your just a number to the company. If you say no to something they will pester you daily until you give in. If they want to get rid of a member of the team, they ask the client to not request them for the area and let you go. Have a very high turn over. They can't keep a guard for more than a week.

I'm currently with this company, I have been for the past 9 years, I've received lots of progression which I didn't think was possible, pay is always on time and not once have they got it wrong over the past 9 years. I highly recommend Stealth to anyone who's new to the industry or to anyone who's looking to change jobs. You get bonuses, unlimited holidays and a great career. It's very rewarding to work for a limited company that has big contracts with big clients and I've seen plenty of accomplishments and yet it keeps getting better...

run away, worst company ever

read the contract before you join the company , they charge you 250 pounds for training (you dont need training and you dont receive any training , you hold the badge)if you dont give them notice when you leave 2 months before, they require weekend and you will have colleagues who choose their best shop and you will get the worst shops,unflexible

A good company to work for

The company itself: A wonderful area manager, (the one who was at the time) very decent, appreciative and understanding. Head office are good with email communication. Pay always on time. Otherwise Lidl’s stores management are very ungrateful and will try to make your work life difficult. Expecting perfection even if you haven’t done the job before And polite to your face, but on the phone behind your back running you down.

Get to learn different stores, paid travel expenses etc. Free hot drinks.

Cons

Train fares for long distances, no paid breaks, customers are ungrateful.

How good are stealth

The best security company I have worked for in 30 years. Hours, holiday and pay are 100% accurate all the time. Head office and regional management are always there for support, problem solving and back up. A brilliant professional company that takes care of it's own.

Company not even a star - a star if that...they need a better managements team.They know how to make money out of your hours if u dont keep an eye on the dates u work. Complain if u cant work a day balme u for the lack of coverd shift & its the the management problem to low staff. very very under pay for the retail company ur wokring for as its the hights payed retail company to work for. You can work less hours at a next company & still come out better end of month lowest pay company but get payed well of your back GOOD LUCK to New applicant

The lack of communication skills definitely needs a huge improvement. The weekly rota is always giving late in the week a day before the starting week none of the guards knows who their point of contact is/what team leader is theres
