It’s not for everyone
Never been messed about so much The jobs relatively easy and not stressful but the management let it down hugely! Not appreciated at all and made to feel replaceable No wonder the high volume of staff turnover. It does suit some people thoughJust not me !

Liked it
Was a great job just at the time I was a new dad and the 70-80 hours a week wasn't ideal for me having a new baby but I'd definitely go back, not hard work at all and decent jobs would definitely go back if they'd have me lol

New Drivers beware!! Brush up on your telepathic communication skills.
First impressions great, then the induction process that doesn't exist. One morning signing to say you are aware of what you will be disciplined for. Run in a Truck. Then Nothing! Transport Manager to busy to see me in my own time. Text seems the default method of Communication. For a newly qualified, absolutely no coherent induction process. What you get is a chaotic situation where you feel like a spare part who is in the way. And the Transport manager whilst having zero communication skill is very juvenile and really needs to look into his management workplace behaviours. On the plus side, they have nice Trucks and seem to do well as a business, so until that metric changes nothing else will. I think staff (Driver) attrition rates are high. No wonder. Good learning for me of what I do not need in my life.

No work life balance
Worked to your limits....most days driving your hours and not enough time to do what you were required to do....management communication almost non existent.....if you want a work life balance this isn't the place to wok
