BDC friendly place to work

Change of career after long service with another company , made to feel welcome by all staff , very friendly environment . Care and time given in training , senior leaders always available for assistance and advice .Laid back atmosphere and managers motivational , flextime to accommodate appointments etc

Pros

free tea and coffee, separate break areas inside and out, 45 mins lunch plus 2 additional breaks, overtime when wanted nal breaks

Cons

training may appear daunting in the beginning as systems appear difficult ( they are not, Just a lot to take in at once )

Nice workplace

I Work in the BDC. on a typical day we are calling warm leads trying to get them to take a service plan plus add ons. i have learnt a lot when being here. They've help me with tips to better sell and earn more money. The Management have been really good to push me to be at my best all the time also have been pushing for me to become a senior and to help others where i can. The Work culture is really good it has a friendly competitive side so everyone is driving each other on to do better. The best part is probably the environment that has been created as everyone gets on really well.

I have learnt to connect with people and have been able to increase my confidence. The work place culture is amazing with high levels of motivation. The hardest part of the job is having to deal with rejection but it is always fulfilling when you are able to connect with customers over the smallest things.

Pros

Great management who are always willing to help out with anything.

Cons

You have to go through the agency for the first 12 weeks but this goes by very quickly.

Good company, great working pattern working mon- fri with some Saturdays included and take inbound calls while making outbounds in the BDC head office at Doncaster. Managers are good help too and are there for training etc when needed or if struggling

I have worked within the Stoneacre Bdc for 3 years now and really enjoy my job here, the environment we work in is overall a positive atmosphere and I find the management within the bdc very good.

Great place to work and good pay

I work within the BDC at Stoneacre talking to customers that need there vehicles booking in on a regular basis for things like service, MOT and general work. I learn different things everyday because every customer has different issues with vehicles/bikes so it’s good to be able to help as much as I can. I generally love working within Stoneacre, colleges and management are very friendly and easy to get along with. Management are there to help with anything and are there to support you.

My standard day at work consists of contacting our customers who have recently purchased a vehicle or come to us for a service, to try and help them in the future with products such as a service plan or MOT TC.Since joining Stoneacre, I have learned a lot about vehicles and how the motor industry as a whole works which can benefit me in various ways.The management here are always helping us to achieve goals and pushing us to new limits to help further ourselves and exceed our capabilities which in turn gives us an overall confidence boost not only to our work ethic but also daily life tasks.From my view, Stoneacre has one goal, and that is to save our customers as much money as possible through various ways from fixed rate service plans, all the way down to amazing deals on car purchases. If our customer is happy, then so are we.The hardest part of the job is finding enough hours in the day to help our customers in whatever way possible. However, the most enjoyable part of the job simply comes down to being able to work with our amazing staff force which not only is hard working, focused and driven, but also fun, heart warming and straight up friendly.

I have now been with Stoneacre almost 7 years. The Business Development Centre is a friendly working environment and I have built many relationships along the way both professionally and personally. The location is really convenient for me and the pay is good hence the 7 years! For me the management in the BDC have been brilliant, I am someone who suffers with mental health and not only had support from seniors but also the higher management in the department. I feel valued in my current role which I have worked in for over 5 years. The hardest part of my job is self management but I thrive for this. The best part of my job is the people I spend my day, both staff and management who are friendly and approachable.

I have been working as a customer advisor for over a year now. Since starting here I enjoying each day, the training and the constant encouragement to better my knowledge and work moral. Managers are on the ball with checking in on everyone and supporting those asap who require further help. I find all managers easy to approach. Time goes fast due to the busy environment. The pay is a great bonus too, many different ways to earn commission and you are rewarded for the effort you put in. The hardest part of the job is simply how busy it can get. Keeping up with the constant calls, but you soon learn a rhythm which works for you.

A Top Level Workplace to be part of

I am now in my second year with the company working for the BDC Department at the head office and I can safely say it is still an enjoyable and fulfilling career path to advance in. The Management are always helpful and supportive along with being very approachable. They are very attentive in a person's strengths and will help a lot in regards to personal development.It's always a good atmosphere to be around with colleagues and the pay structure is fair.Highly Recommend.

A fast paced environment, a variety of work, management try to be supportive where possible and always approachable. The branch I work in everyone is friendly and welcoming. Scope of promotion are good if you work towards it and want it.The only thing I can be negative with is that pay isn't great and holiday is to a minimum, but I still enjoy coming to work after several years of being here.
