Would not recommend
Competitive and unsupportive culture. Constantly changing management with a lack of consistency in approach. Business goals constantly changing. Incompetent upper tier management who get paid far too much in comparison to everyone else. Advancement and improvement in pay virtually impossible.

Good People Focused Company
This was one of the best jobs of my career. The role was fast paced, but that is education. It was really satisfying to have the interaction with and to help the students. The staff are lovely and everyone is supportive. You need to have a good level of skills and the ability to think for yourself, but the pay and job descriptions reflect that. The roles generally require a degree multi-tasking so you need to be able to manage your time effectively. The company is very people focused and my opinion really goes over and above to support staff however they can. If you have the skills required, you are a hard worker and student focused then don't hesitate to apply.

Overworked and Management constantly changing thier mind.
I strongly recommend against working for Studygroup. Staff that work hard only get burdened with more tasks and responsibilities. Staff often work over thier hours and many have left due to work place bullying. Higher management have no regard for workload and often change thier mind last minute.Students are just a money source and higher management don't really care for thier overall wellbeing.

Great people
Great colleagues, students and managers. Well organised. Adapted well and swiftly to online delivery. Not sure if much scope for career progression. Sessional contracts don't seem to be as insecure as they sound.

Avoid at all cost -tribble leadership
No room for development and only selected few gets a biased opportunity for a CPD. Every year they send out a survey and never focus on negative points given to them. They easily dissolve a department with the backing of HR and without suitable consultation in place so you mean nothing to them even if you worked several years and supported the organisation . Poor service management and people with no skills get the jobs they don't deserve ie operation manager become head of student experience !!!
