Easy job but constant. Barely get a break
Duties are easy. Most people are friendly and easily approachable. Very small group that almost become like family. Good place to start. Not a place to build a life around though.

Wouldn’t recommend
I worked at Subway for about a year and hated it! When you’re a new starter the management team expect you to be as fast as every other worker which is clearly impossible because you’re a new starter. The pay at Subway is awful, definitely wouldn’t be able to live off much with what you earn. And staff! Very competitive and can be very judgmental.

Fast paced environment, awful pay
You have to learn pretty quick but once you’ve got the hang of it, it’s alright but it’s a 0 hour contract meaning no stability some weeks you might only be working 4 hours. The pay is shocking for under 18s as you will be paid less than someone doing the exact same job as you even if you perform better than them

Okay
I only worked at weekends so maybe I didn't see the full impact of working there. It was fast paced and there was always something to do. Very big on cleaning. I think every store is different though. I never worked alone but I don't agree that others should for safety reasons.

Horrible place to work
The food is out of date and they still serve it to customers. The management speak to about staff to other staff. They don’t pay you holiday pay. You don’t get respected in any way shape or form, worst job I’ve ever had
