HGV Class 2 Driver in Manchester, Greater Manchester
Not for me.
Only lasted a few days. The job wasn’t for me. High turnover in staff. You hear many horror stories of management and how your face has to fit. The wage was ok for 4 on 4 off but you couldn’t work elsewhere to bump it up if you wanted. Managers attitude to some older wagons (which I hadn’t driven yet or brought up in conversation) was “they’re all legal and you’re being paid so what’s the problem?” I was told by too many people that the manager “seemed to like to sack people”

Double standards management get away with murder and some are bullys all management are best friends and dont care about employees who are just numbers to them DONT work for this company clean poo tanks instead they'll soon replace you if you break wind and dont be kind or they'll boot you out
The working guys are ok
The wost place to work stay well clear of this place the worst kind of management you are likely to meet. There turnover in staff says it all. Think realy hard if you dont want stress

Managers lie they don't protect their staff they only protect their own even if that means breaking rules themselves to get rid of another! working for the actual company itself is hard work but fine the people are great hard workers!!! Its one rule for the manager and one rule for the staff.
