Great pay for crazy hours
Contract is for 45 hours. However you'll regularly work 67+. Ask your line manager for an early finish (i.e: to work your contracted 9 hours and you'll be snarled at and told it's busy. No consideration given to work life balance, no consideration to health. Website talks about providing healthy snacks for staff and access to health checks and about supporting staff with flexible arrangements. This is nonsense. There's a vending machine and a coffee machine.Sutton's were once the place to work but they haven't kept pace. They offer a poor hourly wage for general haulage let alone ADR specialists. They offer rubbish trucks not designed for tramping, beds cut out behind the seat to accommodate after market fridge. Work 70 hours as a tramper, start at 0500 every day and you'll take home over £800. That's the food bit. But 70 hours consistently in a tiny cab leads to poor health and a shafted back.

Office worker
Not the best place to be very stressful under pressure all day from managers who pass the problem on, very hostile work ethics working on daily unachievable targets.

Transport Controller in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire

Worst case company I have ever worked for
Don’t care about their staff differently for doing exact same job. £5k and £10k less that others. Bullying is rife in that office and H&S is non existent. Exposed wires and trip hazards everywhere
