Temporary hire - not bad

I worked at Swarovski for several months. A typical day at work included organizing the stock, attending clients, keeping the shop clean, dealing with exchanges, etc. Because I was a temporary hire I wasn't given a uniform and I had to pay for suitable clothes myself and there wasn't an in-depth training so I was dependent on my co-workers for a while until I could figure things out myself. The shop wasn't busy so getting commisions was difficult.

Lazy managers who’ll refuse to train you

Pay is £11.05 with 60% discount so if you live in the area and don’t pay for travel it’s decent Job is very hands on - you’ll be lucky if you receive training Store managers will only treat you with respect if you are in a high position or have something in common with them Managers are very lazy always putting themselves on 9-5 shifts whereas the rest of the store is constantly stuck on lates finishing work at 9:30pm sometimes later. No progression at all!!!

Nice people, great company

I feel that the ethos of a company is truly seen in times of crisis and the consideration with which Swarovski treated its teams during the pandemic was exemplary.
