Management is lacking as no development, no coaching, and definetly no succession planning. Training is minimal just enough to get you going then its up to you... to get things done. Quick to critisise but not so quick to praise for a job well done. Insist on continuous improvements but no funding available to implement improvements. No holidays or days off outside of site shut downs. Expectation is to work hard all the time but when there is no production its all about 5s without many of the materials needed to do the 5s! And to always look busy!
salaried positions pay is good, those who have been there a while as their pay increases with service
Always tired from the 3 shift cycle, Expectation for TL's and above is very high without the support needed to achieve the standard, minimal support from management but a lot of critisism, poor management
ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK! Absolute disgrace- Management biased - corrupt - if your face fits you might, just might last a little longer! Treat people like little children- Supervisors and Team leaders are that far up each other’s backsides you can see their heads when they speak!
Biased/corrupt system/ From top to bottom!
Management are weak and run with continued threats to workers. Agency turnaround is massive with only about 20% being permanent, very few are British so language barriers and culture clashes between east Europeans is often. A really poor company to work for. Never again!
All the above
The work is not to hard but is very repetitive and boring, Supervisors/Team Leader and higher management play favorites, in order to progress at syncreon your face had to fit, if they don't like you your not getting anywhere or moving up the ladder. The only good thing about the place Is the people you work with great lads can't fault them, very helpful and friendly. HR department is terrible to, always have an attitude
- respond on emails, meet with engineers, update trackers, chase completions jobs - learn technical/ engineering language - like in many places there are good and better people to work with - the hardest part to make priority for tasks - the most enjoyable part of the job meeting with people, learning new things about facilities and being part of the projects.
Work in itself boring and not to much to learn. Atmosphere was good but it has changed. Managers-majority of them awful because they absolutely do not respect employees. Besides if you are not from their click they treat you like an air.
Work life balance
Syncreons has a hire them and fire them policy from associates to management. Throughout the work force there is a fear of losing your job for stepping out of line or face doesnt fit with certain management. The revolving door of employees coming in and back out is constant. Any excuse will be used to disgard employees, regardless of your position, even if legally or morally incorrect!
