Rewarding and Fast PacedThe job I did was amazing and the dealership as a whole was amazing. The company culture is balanced too. I would never have left if I could have been moved from my line manager. The 1* review on management is solely for my line manager. All other management would be 5*. Can’t fault them for the job but They would probably benefit from a bit of people training

It's a Managers world !Used to be the best company to work for, but that has long gone.Management hasn't got a clue what's going on, and they are wasting money left, right and center.

Awful company to work for, so degradingTerrible company to work for, worked at the branch in Leicester for not even 3 months and the management was so poor. Constantly degrading and going on, could never do enough, made you feel very belittled and unworthy. Hours are long, can't even take 10 minutes extra to yourself aswell as your half an hour break, get £1 deducted for every 1 minute you go over your break. Just an awful place. Don't do it.

Pay is good but you have to work very hard for itWorked at Ascot Jaguar. Sytner is a strange place to work. They talk about best place to work for but when you scratch beneath the surface you are micro managed in the extreme. When you do get to go home you are expected to take incoming internet leads on your phone. Handover?? Come in on your day off and do it! The pay is good if you can sell over 15 units a month. Lots of people made redundant during covid so don't trust the best place to work for spiel.....

Ignore the "best place to work" awardsThis is my experience of working at one of their dealerships for 6 years up until the pandemic hit. I was furloughed in March and I had zero communication from them despite requesting updates from both HR and my lines managers. I kept them informed of surgery I had on my eye in September, which in hindsight I regret. Whilst I was recovering in the following months my line manager contacted me with regards to "changes to my job role" which quickly transpired to be a redundancy meetings. I was finally made redundant on Christmas eve 2020 even trying to claim I had only worked at the company for 5 years and taking 2 further weeks worth of holiday for "enforced holiday" they had failed to make me aware of.In summery - I believe they took the opportunity to use the pandemic as a guise to get me out the door as I had been diagnosed with glaucoma and I'm losing my eye sight. I'd certainly take the "top 10 companies to work for" award with a pinch of salt.Day to day - I made friends with other colleagues, the facilities were good and my work station was well kitted out, My office was quite depressing with no windows. The managment was generally ineffective I found them to favour certain people. Too many cheifs and not enough indians rings true here.I witnessed some less favourable practices which were also overlooked by management.
