Targeted Provision is by far the best company I have ever worked for.Targeted Provision is a fun, hard-working, person-centred, deeply ethical and rewarding company to work for. I enjoy the work that I do and feel incredibly supported and understood by both management but also my colleagues. The hardest part of the position that I am in is seeing young people let down by a broken education system. However, the best part is, at Targeted Provision, things are done a little differently and we actually get to help change the lives of young people for the better. We also support the tutors on a level that I had never experienced before working at TP.

Supportive and friendly environment to work inI have never worked for a company I can truly say is supportive of staff, flexible and are transparent in all aspects of the company until I started working for Targeted Provision. My managers are always available to talk, genuinely care and they have created a wonderful environment for those working from home, I feel motivated every day and feel my work has a purpose and is having a positive impact on the young people we are trying to support. I am learning something new every day and feel like all of suggestions are listened to. Working for Targeted Provision has allowed me to build on my skills and confidence.

A company where your opinion/input is actually valued!Never have I worked in a company where my input actually mattered and you can actually see any changes being made rather than just being told 'they will be looked into'. Feeling valued and a part of the team is something that I felt pretty much as soon as I started working here. Day-to-day you can see how child centred Targeted Provision actually are and that everything does revolve around the young person, ensuring they are getting the support they deserve. This is a company I am proud to be working for and would highly recommend to others.
This is a good job if you want to work somewhere you are valued, have experience to offer and want to make a difference.I prepare my work for the lessons, extra to make sure I am well-prepared, and drive to work with a young person.I then, using my own timetable and the objectives that have been set for the young person, begin to work through my chosen objectives - making sure there is flexibility. The whole experience has been very nourishing for me as I feel valued and the reward for working with these young people is when you find a way to move them forward even when they are a little resistant. It's helping to increase confidence and for that young person to see that they have an important role to play in life that appeals to me, not just the education; after all, that's why I became a teacher.I think it is important to maintain a healthy balance between professionalism and being kind, relaxed and friendly.Everyone with whom I have spoken has been kind, supportive and knowledgeable; they also highly value your experience. The hardest part of the job is the first few sessions when you are trying to think of lots of activities and learning objectives that you can begin with - getting your toolkit together. Also having the confidence to get in and make that start. The most enjoyable is seeing a face smile and working with the young person to assist them in making their dreams come true.
