Horrible
Assistant Systems Engineer (Current Employee) - Derby - 21 September 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? There was nothing good about working for this company What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Knowing that they could end your contract at anytime. Not taking into consideration my mental health issues. Threatening redundancy if I didn’t accept a role which was in another city and a massive downgrade. Not giving a sufficient raise after working there for a year and management and HR being completely incompetent What is the work environment and culture like at the company? There is literally no work environment and culture. This makes it difficult to want to give a 100% for this company What is a typical day like for you at the company? Awaiting redeployment and doing nothing

Laid back but no support for employee growth or welbeing
Systems Engineer (Former Employee) - United Kingdom - 12 May 2023
You have a laid back work culture but extremely political at lower management. No help and support for employee growth. No coordination and help. I have seen so many people leave the company

decent start
Systems Engineer (Current Employee) - London - 11 March 2019
Decent start in terms of salary, grad scheme is advertised but there is 0 plan for you.
you will get no training which is a massive disadvantage when being a grad, don't take the salary start off lower elsewhere, it's better in the long run
Pros
salary starting
Cons
wont get any training

Great place to learn
Systems Engineer (Current Employee) - London - 18 September 2016
For a beginner, TCS is a great company to learn and grow. The overall mechanism of starting your career begins with a comprehensive training which helps one boost their entrance in the IT world.

Fun and productive, as long as you get a good manager
Systems Engineer (Current Employee) - Chennai,London - 10 April 2015
TCS was a fun place to work, as I got to work for a great client of TCS, Lloyds Banking Group,UK.
The client provided numerous ways to improve oneself by incorporating all the latest technologies in the daily development process.
Co-workers get along very well.
Hardest part of the job is the constant requests for out of office hours work.
Cons
Weekend working, Unethical performance appraisals
